MET offers rolling admission for all degree and certificate programs, normally granted for September, January, and May of each year, with additional starts in October, March, and July for most online programs. Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis and admission decisions are made after a full evaluation of each candidate’s materials. View our application deadlines here.
Application Requirements
Applicants to master’s degree and graduate certificate programs must have earned a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution prior to enrollment. Requirements include:
Transcript(s) from each college and graduate school attended. Unofficial transcripts can be uploaded to your application. Official electronic transcripts will be required upon enrollment.
International students should review the transcripts section of our International Student Graduate Application page. It is recommended that official evaluations be provided for international transcripts.
A current résumé/CV
English proficiency exam (for international students): international students should review the English proficiency section of our international application page.
Application fee
On Campus programs: a nonrefundable $85 for master’s degree applications and $25 for graduate certificate applications.
Online programs: no application fee.
Letters of recommendation are not required for master’s and graduate certificate programs except for the following programs, which require one letter only:
MA in Gastronomy
Master of City Planning
Master of Urban Affairs
Please note, GRE/GMAT exams are not required for admission to graduate programs at Metropolitan College.
